Duties:
The intern will assist the Creative Services team in any of the following areas, depending on his or her experience and interest: the development and production of a wide variety of engaging, inspired print and electronic communications; web content development/editing/writing. The candidate will be involved from conceptualization through production of press- and/or web-ready documents and supporting graphics. He or she will also provide administrative support as needed.
Experience:
Required:
For print: Proficiency using the Adobe Creative Suite CS3 on Mac; experience using Acrobat, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint on both Mac and PC helpful. (The Creative Services Department uses Mac to produce press- and web-ready materials, and PC to produce templates and other materials for internal use).
For Web Production: Familiarity with HTML and web-based content management system (Drupal or equivalent), content development and editing/writing, graphic production for Web.
Helpful, but not required: Familiarity with best business practices for web and print; familiarity with multimedia development including Flash, After Effects.
Preference will be given to interns who can commit 2 days a week, but all applicants will be considered.
